For those interested in attending this town hall, if there is any Q&A offered please mention the fact that grassroots organization Whole Washington is in the midst of spearheading a petition campaign to gather the required signatures necessary to get statewide “people’s initiative” 1600 (Universal Healthcare) on the 2018 ballot in Washington State. We have until July 6th to obtain approximately 300,000 signatures. Whole Washington does not have the deep pockets to pay petitioners, so they are reliant on widespread volunteer participation to get the job done. We need a bit of everyone’s time. It’s not that hard to collect signatures. We can set you up with the necessary materials, venues, petition partners, and some basic training if you would like. But we need your help “now,” before time runs out. Ask them to please “take the initiative” and contact us today.
